We started working with a local ecommerce store that sells handcrafted candles in March 2024. Their busiest time of year is Christmas, but via a comprehensive SEO strategy, we were able to surpass their xmas 2023 traffic by June 2024. We were able to change their standard seasonal traffic curve within months, now resulting in 2k more monthly visits via Google.

3.2k clicks to 5.2k. This bespoke approach to their Shopify website has helped them rank for high quality keywords, they are now ranking number 1 for some great terms. And those that are super-competitive, they are either ahead or very closely behind the american giant, Yankee Candle, who have a deeply impressive SEO and backlink profile – we are in pursuit with full visibility. This visibility and deployment of our techniques has allowed us to close the gap from ranking page 2 and beyond for important terms, to the top of page 1 . Initially, we found poorly implemented keywords that weren’t monitored on a monthly basis, so when the Google algorithm and competitors change, they were not keeping inline with trends so were struggling. We also found missing alt texts and no valid link building strategy in place among other issues.
